I designed the exhibition for Martin Wong's monumental Quong Yuen Shing & Co., depicting the iconic Chinatown storefront established in 1891. The installation honored Wong's visionary documentation of downtown New York while positioning this superlative work for collectors and institutions.
The presentation contributed to exceptional results: the painting achieved $1,260,375, setting a world record for the artist and reflecting Wong's surge in market demand and institutional recognition.
